New Students and Family Programs, UNC Chapel Hill
Orientation Leader
In my role as an orientation leader with the New Student and Family Programs, I facilitated the smooth transition of over 600 new students while working with a team of 26 other orientation leaders. During each session, I led a small group of students, conduct activities and ice breakers to connect them with each other and various campus resources. I also participated in student panels to provided relatable insights addressing inquiries from students and families.

Club Management Consulting Initiative
I initiated a program aimed at connecting past club leaders with current leaders through an online platform, attracting participation from 19 former club leaders across eight schools. This experience equipped me with essential operational and communication skills.

"Equal Voices" Campign
I launched an app dedicated to preserving Chinese dialects, collecting 380+ audio pieces and 50+ hours of recordings from 30 provinces. This project enhanced my app development skills and deepened my understanding of community engagement and problem-solving, underscoring my commitment to both technology and cultural preservation.

Pads Mutual Aid Box Campaign
I played a co-initiating role in a campaign to eradicate period shaming, providing free sanitary products across campus. To ensure the initiative's long-term impact, I introduced a sanitary pad vending machine on our campus. This experience further developed my project coordination, community engagement, and creative problem-solving skills and my ability to address societal issues and implement inventive solutions.

Girls be First: Pink Boxing Program
I developed a boxing program for girls (age 14-18) by collaborating with local boxing club with weekly training sessions. I empowered 10+ members to participate to encourage girls to take part in boxing, the traditionally masculine sport, to raise their physical strength and mental toughness.
